Pandav Caves

The whole cave is carved out of a single rock.
That’s what a cave window looks like.

A small room with a high rise platform to keep … I guess vessels.

I found these caves on the way to Harvalem… in Goa. Called Pandav caves, named after the five heroes of the Mahabharata (Hindu mythological novel; my personal favorite). Its said that the Pandavs made them and lived there….. sometime BC.

Not my kind of waterfalls.

Personally speaking, I have seen much better waterfalls.
Good place for a family picnic. Yup there’s a temple close by….. can’t remember which God graces it….. It’s a Hindu Temple.
